  • Have fallen in the past year
  • Feel unsteady when standing or walking
  • Have difficulty stepping up or down
  • Take medications that may affect balance or alertness
  • Have reduced feeling in your feet
  • Have uncorrected vision or hearing problems
  • Often rush to the bathroom
  • Live with chronic conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, or chronic pain
  • Have a disability that affects mobility or balance
  • Limit activities because you fear falling
  • Feel isolated, lonely, or depressed
